The communication with Janna was great, she’s a great host and will help you with all your questions.

El sitio es exageradamente pequeño con escaleras totalmente verticales lo cual hace difícil subir; admás, carece de ventilación... read more lo que produce olores de humedad y el "dormitorio" superior son unos cojines unidos en el suelo, ni siquiera es un colchon para dormir. La puerta corredica de aluminio y vidrio no corria y por último la casa estaba cerca de lugares de diversión cuya música a todo volumen no dejo dormir hasta la madrugada. En conclusión pagamos un dinero que no corresponde al sitio ofertado. Pésima experiencia.

  My friend and I rented for a month and we felt so at home in Janna's place. The Bamboo House has multiple apartments so you've got built-in, friendly neighbors and... read more adorable dogs and cats roaming around on the balconies. Janna gave us so many recommendations, arranged tours and transport for us, gave us surf lessons, and connected us with a bunch of really cool people living in and around Canoa! The private third-floor balcony is absolute bliss, the kitchen has everything you'd need, we got fresh fruit delivered to our door every day and the AC is heavenly.

All in all a 10/10 stay!!

It is such a peaceful place. Just what I needed to work remotely while also enjoying the fine life by the sea amongst locals and such friendly people. Janna also made my stay more fun. She is a fantastic host. Friday and Saturday nights are a bit more lively with music from the beach bars. It did not bother me. I enjoyed the summer vibes. This really is a place to unwind and calm down. With the option to be super active and go surfing or discovering the beautiful surroundings or simply walk on the beach, have a cocktail or healthy freshly squeezed fruit shakes and the most amazing food, with amazing value/price. Overall it's exceeded my expectations in every way. Can only highly recommend! Thank you

  I absolutely loved my time in Canoa and it is in great part thanks to Janna. She ensured I had a memorable experience with great suggestions, showing me around, and... read more advice for the area. She was always responsive and met me at my bus to ensure a smooth check in. I arrived late and she had water and a huge watermelon upon arrival which was so great. The location could not be beat, it’s a block from the beach. You do need to be agile for the stairs and the noise on the weekends is clearly stated. Janna kindly proactively provided ear plugs though the noise did not bother me. The mosquito netting for the bed is one of the best I’ve had so far. To note: there is no ATM in Canoa so you must be prepared in advance. The rustic home is very welcoming and had everything I needed and more thanks to Janna. She also assisted me with scheduling a very early morning cab to catch a flight out of Manta. I’d return for sure and in fact hope to!
